NEVADA PORTFOLIO OF PAINTINGS, THE FIRST HUNDRED YEARS

BINDING: Hardcover
Book Condition: Close to new.
Edition: appears to be 1st from my research.
Publisher: Great Western Publishing Co.
Lithographed in USA
Place: Reno Nevada
Date: 1964
For: Harold's Club of Reno 1964 and the Smith family.

Historically informative and important. BROWN cover with the magic of wonderfully illustrated art and text. Oversized hardback book about 11 inches tall by 14 inches wide. Spine has off white lettering. Apperars to be leather, but could be faux. On this book I am not sure. Pages alternate between text that describies the plates and the full color plates themselves. The plates are suitable for framing. The plates were Lithographed in USA. NEVADA PORTFOLIO OF PAINTINGS,THE FIRST ONE HUNDRED YEARS was commissioned by the owner's of Harold's Club of Reno to commemorate the hundredth birthday of the state of Nevada. There were 4 Smith family members in 1964 when the book was published. Contibuting artist are Neil Boyle, Don Dubois, Nixon Galloway, Bob Poole, Ren Wicks and Charles M Wysocki.

Condition: clean, bright, tight. pages have never been bent back which is "normal for a book this size. Spine ends and corners of book have a bit of light bumping and rubbing. Kept in a home library, out of light and humidity, while not in use.
Multicolored text pages are still crisp printing.
